Fotostabilization of biopolymeric materials for regenerative medicine
Navrhovaná alternatívna metóda sieťovania by mala zlepšiť pevnosť a stabilitu sieťovaných biopolymérov a zvýšiť ich biologickú funkčnosť.
Searching relevant articles in extensive collections
Vojt, Ján ; Novák, Jiří (advisor) ; Bartoš, Tomáš (referee)
Searching text in articles is usually implemented with fulltext search. Using more advanced techniques however, it is possible to achieve significantly better results. The subject of this work is to create a universal library for searching extensible collections, specialized in czech language. The library makes use of tools capable of working with morphology while considering importance of words. It also conducts an experiment with word pairs, which adds context into the search process. The success rate of this experiment is tried on an extensible collection of data. Created library is a unique tool for processing extensible collections of czech text, while at the same time it is ready for further extension by new languages and methods.
Portuguese of the State of Minas Gerais
Pushchanka, Aliaksandra ; Hricsina, Jan (advisor) ; Svobodová, Petra (referee)
The Brazilian Portuguese is versatile and exhibits a rich dialectological diversity. The state of Minas Gerais in terms of its population is the second biggest state of Brazil, and the local dialect, the Mineiro Portuguese, is one of the most widely spoken dialects in the country. This thesis aims to elaborate an introduction to the variant of the Portuguese language spoken in Minas Gerais in the framework of the Brazilian Portuguese and peculiarities of its development. Along with the Brazilian dialectological studies one of the focal points is reporting the most significant dialectological studies carried out in the area of the Mineiro Portuguese, the results of which point out to the most characteristic features of this dialect. The historic aspects of the establishing of the state of Minas Gerais serve as the basis for interpreting the most distinct traits of its language. In this way, this thesis offers a general overview of the Mineiro Portuguese, which may serve as a modest contribution to spreading the knowledge about the dialect outside of Brazil and a better understanding of the problematic of the dialectological diversity of the Brazilian Portuguese.
The use of molecular-biology methods (QRT-PCR) and immunocytological methods (flow cytometry and immunocytochemistry) for the detection of minimal residual disease in neuroblastoma
Grüncveigová, Veronika ; Vícha, Aleš (advisor) ; Daňková, Pavlína (referee)
With a continuous development of molecular-biology methods more attention has been paid to molecular detection of minimal residual diseases in solid tumors. In our study we focused on detection of MRD in neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is one of the peripheral neuroblastic tumors (pNTs) that accounts approximately for10 percent of all childhood cancers. The question raised however not answered until this day is whether evidence of MRD in bone marrow may be used as independent prognostic factor in diagnosis of neuroblastoma. Furthermore, it is important to establish what kind of testing technique should be used and what values to look at. There exist various methodologies in detection of MRD evidence in neuroblastoma. These methods differ in cost and complexity, but mainly some of them are more specific and sensitive than the other. Cancer cells may be detected in the blood as well as in the bone marrow. Very often it is the bone marrow that is affected by the metastasis in neuroblastoma, therefore 85% of all high risk neuroblastomas show positive results in the standard cytomorphology tests of bone marrow. Low numbers of cancer cells in bone marrow or peripheral blood (especially during or after the end of treatment) are below the standard values of detection limit in most of the classic methodologies...
